Step 3 - Choose Components
At the Choose Components screen, choose the IntelliTrack Mobile feature to install. You have two options: Full or Custom.
- Choose the installation option and then click the Install button to install IntelliTrack Mobile to the device. The components will begin installing to the device; see "Installation to the Device".
- To go to the previous screen, click the Back button.
- To cancel IntelliTrack Mobile installation, click the Cancel button.
Full Components Installation
The Full option is automatically selected. It installs all IntelliTrack Mobile components. If you are unsure of which IntelliTrack Mobile components to install, we recommend that you select this option, especially for a new installation.
Custom Components Installation
The Custom option is an advanced option and contains the installation components. You are able to select them for individual installation. This option is mainly used when re-installing IntelliTrack Mobile.
- IntelliTrack Mobile Client: Select to install the IntelliTrack Mobile Client application that operates on the portable device. This is a required option.
- .NET Compact Framework: Select to install the .NET Framework onto your device. The .NET Framework is device dependent. If it is already installed on your device, you do not have to reinstall it.
- SQL Server Compact Edition: Select to install the SQL Server Compact Edition on your device. The SQL Server Compact Edition is the SQL Server that runs the IntelliTrack Mobile database. If it is already installed on your device, you do not have to reinstall it.
Installation to the Device
When you select the Install button, the components begin installing to your device.
Note: Depending on your device, the installation steps may vary from the steps found below.
- As each component is installed, a message appears on your computer screen to notify you that the application is installing.
- As the component is being installed, a status bar appears on your computer screen to show installation progress.
- After it is downloaded to the device, the following message appears: Please check your mobile device screen to see if additional steps are necessary to complete this installation.
- At this point, CHECK your DEVICE to see if any steps are necessary there. If required, perform the installation steps on your device.
- After the component is installed on your device, RETURN to the installation wizard in the PC screen, and select OK to close the Application Downloading Complete message.
- Steps 2-6 are repeated for each component being installed.
- When all components are installed, the Finish window appears to notify you that installation is complete, see "Step 4 - Installation Complete" for more information.
